How can it be that school is already getting ready to go back? Yes, our God of all seasons has created the rhythms of the year for a reason, and as summer winds down, vacation memories fade, and sleeping-in ends, it’s time for teachers, parents, and students to focus on a new year!
This year, FUMC Winnsboro is developing a prayer ministry for young families. The goal is to have people from OUR church sign up to be a PRAYER PAL for a specific family and to pray for the members of that family by name every month through the school year. Before the last week of August, we will match you with a family who has signed up to be prayed for, and you will then contact, by TEXT or EMAIL (per your request and theirs), the adult contact for that family. We will provide reminders each month and suggestions for seasonal communication so don’t worry .. we’re in this TOGETHER as a church family!

PARENTS and GRANDPARENTS …we’d like to pray for your children and grandchildren!
We’re also inviting you, parents, and yes, grandparents to sign up to have a Prayer Pal pray for YOUR family! PLEASE SIGN UP HERE, and we’ll assign someone from our church to pray every month for your children or grandchildren by name. If we’re praying for your grandchildren, you can be the family contact or, ask your children if we can contact them directly every month. We will not communicate with our adult contacts in any way other than the method they request, TEXT or EMAIL.
